Another activity to try in Duns: Archery

Duns & District U3A has a wide choice of interest groups and activities for members to enjoy, but we also like to help promote other local groups that may be of interest to our members and the wider community. So we’re delighted to spread the word that the Duns Archery Club has started to meet again.

The Club will meet in the Volunteer Hall on Thursday evenings from 7pm to 8pm for five weeks starting on 30th January, as a trial to see if there is sufficient interest to continue. They have all the equipment needed for beginners, and would love to see local U3A members come and have a go!

Whilst prospective members do not need to join the Club until they have attended for three sessions, all adult attendees have to contribute £5 per evening ( including members). This is to cover hall hire and contribute to insurance.

For more information, please contact Andrew Mitchell at andrewrsmitchell@gmail.com.

Please note that this activity is not organised by the U3A.
