Who can join?

New members are always welcome. Membership is open to all who are no longer in full-time employment, or are retired or semi-retired, with a zest for life and learning – and laughter!

How much does it cost?

The annual subscription for 2022-2023 is £20. This allows you to join as many groups as you wish (see our Groups page for full details of groups available). The annual subscription also covers your affiliation to the Third Age Trust and u3a Scotland. There is an option to subscribe to a quarterly magazine from the Third Age Trust for an additional £4. Members of other branches of the u3a are welcome to join us as well, for a reduced subscription of £17.

For those attending classes which require the use of a hall there is an additional one off charge of £5 per group which covers attendance at that group for the entire year. This will be payable to your group leader at the first meeting.
