Held on the last Tuesday afternoon of the month at Southfield 2.30 – 4.30
We will choose the music for each session within the group, and each member will have a turn to choose. We’ll briefly discuss the background to the piece and why it was chosen. Then listen to it. Dependent on the piece we may listen to different versions of it.
Over tea/coffee we’ll talk about the piece, what we liked / disliked and so on.
There is no restriction on type of music. Classical, Opera, Jazz, Musicals, Modern. Whatever the group would like!
Unless there are any other suggestions, I will bring some music for the first session.
If there is interest then later on we might arrange some concert visits
