We had hoped that the open meeting tomorrow (Tuesday 17th March) at the Volunteer Hall, Duns would be able to go ahead as planned, but following the Government’s new advice of ‘No public meetings or gatherings’, we regret that it is now cancelled. We apologise for this cancellation being at such short notice.
It is quite likely that many of our group meetings will need to be cancelled also, and the relevant group leaders will be in touch with members in due course with further information.
We at Duns & District U3A do not want anybody to feel isolated, especially if you are unable to leave your home, so please let us know if we can help you with anything. We have many members who are only too willing to help others but we can only do so if you let us know what you require. For example, you might like help to learn how to do your shopping online. Or if your group cannot meet, it may be possible for alternative learning to be sent to you. Please don’t feel completely on your own – see our Contact page for ways to get in touch.
