Enrolment Day – 11 September 2021

Our enrolment day for this next season is SATURDAY 11 SEPTEMBER from 10am to 2pm in the VOLUNTEER HALL, DUNS.

NB: Please be aware that the main road through Duns will close for around 15 minutes to allow the cycle race ‘Tour of Britain’ to pass through Duns at 13:35pm.

We have all sorts of new ideas for groups for you to join – which we hope will appeal to a wide range of interests. We will be meeting in Community Centres, Village Halls and homes around the district, and there will be plenty of groups to join online if you prefer.

We are still finalising all the group venues, but look out for:

  • Chamber Music group
  • Crime and Detective fiction book group
  • Middle East book group
  • Creative crafting
  • Local history
  • Craft and chat
  • Walking netball
  • Art appreciation
  • Pickleball
  • Carpet Bowls

as well as the return of your favourites like Ceilidh and Country Dancing; Tap Dancing; Middle Eastern Studies; Wildlife and Ecology; Opera appreciation; Walking; Mahjong; Bridge (Improvers); German; Italian; Geology; Classical Music Appreciation; Poetry; Latin and Classical Studies and our ever popular Book Groups.

We will be posting details on our Facebook page and on the Groups Timetable Page on this site as they are confirmed.

Once you have completed your enrolment – look out for the Tour of Britain cycle race, passing through Duns at 13:35pm!

We are very mindful of the importance of keeping everyone safe and are updating our COVID policy details as our venues and group leaders confirm their regulations and guidelines.
