Who can join?
New members are always welcome. There are no age restrictions!
Membership is open to all who are not in full-time employment, or are retired or semi-retired, with a zest for life and learning – and laughter!
How much does it cost?
The annual subscription for 2025-2026 remains at £10. This allows you to join as many groups as you wish. The annual subscription also covers your affiliation to the Third Age Trust and u3a Scotland.
There is an option to subscribe to a quarterly magazine from the Third Age Trust
for an additional £4.
Members of other branches of the u3a are welcome to join us as well,
for a reduced subscription of £5.00.
For those attending classes which require the use of a hall there is an additional fee
depending on venue hire costs and frequency of meetings which covers attendance at that group for the entire year. The group fees for the forthcoming season, 2025/26 are as follows:

3. Come to Enrolment on Sept 9th in the Volunteer Hall Duns 10-12 or any subsequent Open meeting where we can help you complete the form.
