Pickleball is very easy to pick up, played on a badminton size court, somewhere between Badminton, Tennis and Table Tennis. Everyone is very welcoming and we play to have fun in an informal atmosphere.
Just trainers and comfortable clothing required. Bats and balls provided.

Trying to set up a Pickleball Group in Wokingham u3a.
Our sports facility has no Pickleball nets We don’t have funds to buy nets at the outset of this exercise. Did your sports facility provide Pickleball nets, or did you buy your own, or do you play wit badminton nets?

Hello there. My apologies for slow reply but I was away for the weekend and was unable to access your message on my iPhone.
Our Pickleball group plays in our local high school using their badminton lines and nets. Our members have purchased their own paddles and the group leader already had a supply of balls.
